What Rising Pelvic Pain Is Telling Us
A reflection on pelvic pain and the times we are living in.
Over the past year, we have noticed something that has been hard to ignore.
More people are reaching out to us. Not just to ask about cushions, but to talk. To explain what they are feeling. To ask if what they are experiencing is normal. To share that their pelvic pain has increased, sometimes suddenly, sometimes after years of managing it quietly.
As a small, hands-on company, we read every message. When patterns start to show up, we pay attention.
What we are hearing feels connected to the times we are living in.
Many people describe:
- Sitting more than ever
- Longer workdays with fewer breaks
- Stress showing up physically
- Recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illness
- Pushing through discomfort until it escalates
Pelvic pain is deeply personal, but it does not exist in isolation.
Our bodies respond to stress, prolonged sitting, and lack of movement. They respond to tension we do not always name. When life feels heavier, faster, or more uncertain, it often shows up physically. The pelvis, lower back, hips, and tailbone are especially sensitive areas for holding that strain.
For some, the increase in pain feels confusing. For others, it feels validating to finally hear that they are not alone.
Increased pelvic pain is not a personal failure.
It is not weakness. It is not something you imagined into existence. It is a signal that deserves attention, care, and respect.
We have also noticed that more men are reaching out. More younger people. More caregivers. More individuals who never expected to be dealing with this kind of discomfort. That tells us the conversation around pelvic health is opening, even if the need is growing faster than awareness.
At SunCloud®, our role has never been just about selling a product. It has always been about listening. About creating support that meets people where they are. About recognizing that comfort is not a luxury when you are in pain. It is a necessity.
If you are experiencing increased pelvic pain, please know this. You are not alone. Many others are navigating similar changes in their bodies. Reaching out, asking questions, and seeking support is not overreacting. It is self-respect.
The times we are living in ask a lot of us. Sometimes more than our bodies can quietly carry.
We believe that paying attention to pain is an act of care. Listening to what your body is asking for is always worth it.
If you ever need guidance, reassurance, or simply a place to start, we are here. We will keep listening, because what our customers share matters. It reflects real lives, real bodies, and real moments that deserve compassion.
Warmly,
Babette
